The nerves that send signals to the arms and legs exit the spinal cord through small holes in the vertebral column.
If there is spinal dysfunction and inflammation then those nerves may become irritated and create arm or leg pain depending on which body part that nerve is traveling to.
If this is the case then the best treatment is to care for the spine, remove the nerve irritation then the arm or leg pain will be relieved.
